"Quarks & Co" (Quarks and Such) has been broadcast on WDR since 1993. The program illuminates scientific topics from the most diverse perspectives. In order to make a topic understandable for its viewers, show host Ranga Yogeshwar even dares to perform self-experiments.

"Here, knowledge is communicated in a simple, exciting and even unusual manner. A knowledge magazine that has mastered the balancing act between entertainment and knowledge communication," the jury finds.
